This event has been postponed to October 30th- 31st, 2020!
Myrtle Beach has always been known for the huge variety of restaurants located along the Grand Strand, featuring every cuisine you could ever imagine. Whether you’re in the mood for Thai, Italian, Mexican, Indian or fresh local seafood, the meal you have been craving can always be found in Myrtle Beach! This spring, Myrtle Beach celebrates mobile eateries with the 2019 Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival, showcasing a huge lineup of the best food trucks the Grand Strand has to offer!
The food truck industry has exploded over the past five years, with total sales exceeding over $2 billion. There certainly is a charm in walking down a street you’ve been down countless times and discovering a new culinary addition parked and serving up a dish that you didn’t know you want but absolutely have to try! That is what the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival is all about!
The Food Truck Festival runs from Friday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 5th. Guests can stroll throughout the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion and try out amazing dining options available from over 50 different vendors. Carnivores are sure to love the options available at Smoqueology BBQ and How Bout Burger. Looking for something different? A variety of ethnic culinary styles will be showcased, including cajun (Taste of Nawlins), Asian (Happy Thai, Tamashii, Krazian), Greek (Greekin Out), Caribbean (Sweet Spice) and much, much more! If you have a craving for something sweet, there will be lots of amazing choices for guests, including Crave Cupcake Boutique, Giggles & Freckles Craft Ice Cream, Donut I Love You and Cinn-Sane Cinnamon Rolls. And if you’re over 21 you are legally allowed to sample the spirit-infused frozen delights of Booze Pops and Snobar Southeast!
In addition to all the mouth-watering food throughout the festival, there will be tons of entertainment and live music during the three day festival. Local favorites Chocolate Chip and Company, Tru Sol and the Paul Grimshaw Band will perform, as well as tribute acts featuring the music of Billy Joel, Elton John and Journey. There will also be a cornhole tournament taking place on Saturday and Sunday, so if you and a partner think you have what it takes, sign up for $10 and challenge to take home a 100% payout grand prize! Kids are sure to have nonstop fun at the Kidz Zone, featuring bounce houses, slides, carnival games and more to keep them entertained the whole day. Various craft and souvenir vendors will also be located throughout the festival. Oh, and did we mention that admission is free? No? Well, we just did!
