River Oaks Resort Driving Directions
Late Arrival Information
Late Arrivals must check in with the office the following day to register.
As you enter the Beach Vacations parking lot you will see a lock box on the front porch. This
contains keys, a map to your unit, parking permit(s), and a copy of the resort rules and regulations.
On the left side of the key box you will find five (5) buttons. In order to access entry the code
is 231. Please press the 2nd, 3rd and then the 1st buttons from the top, turn the handle to the right
and remove the arrival envelope with your name.
Traveling From Florence, SC
You will take Highway 501 South towards Myrtle Beach. Florence is approximately 1 hour from Myrtle Beach.
On Highway 501 South you will pass through the town on Aynor, SC. Make sure you obey all speed limit laws!
After Aynor, you will pass through the town of Conway, SC. After leaving Conway, you will Coastal Carolina
University on the right and Horry-Georgetown Technical College on the right. Keep straight. Once you pass
the colleges, you will go through 4 lights. After the 4th light, you will go under a bypass bridge and then
over a bypass bridge. When you cross over this bridge get into the right lane. At the bottom of the next bridge
veer off to the right for the exit of River Oaks Drive and Robert Grissom Parkway. At the light make a left
onto River Oaks Drive. Go through 2 lights. You will come to a set of railroad tracks. Make sure you stop so
you do not get a ticket! You will pass a complex on the right called River Oaks South. Beach Vacations will be
the next creme color building on the right.
Traveling From Charleston, SC
You will travel into Myrtle Beach onto Highway 17 North. Charleston is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from
Myrtle Beach. When you leave Charleston there is a small town called McClellanville. The speed limit is observed
through this small town so be careful. After McClellanville you will enter Georgetown. You will remain on Highway
17 North the entire travel until Myrtle Beach. After Georgetown you will enter Litchfield Beach, then Pawley's Island,
then Murrell's Inlet. When you enter Murrell's Inlet, Highway 17 North will split to Bypass 17 North and Kings Highway
North. You will stay left heading towards Bypass 17 North. Keep straight for approximately 10 minutes. You will see a
right hand exit for Highway 501 North towards Conway. At the top of the bridge veer to the right, be careful of traffic
coming up the ramp towards Highway 501 North. Go over the bridge you will see a blue rail road track sticking straight
up in the air at the bottom of the bridge veer to the right onto River Oaks Drive. Take a left at the light. Take a
right at the light onto River Oaks Drive. Stop at the railroad tracks to avoid ticket. You will pass the complex of River
Oaks South on the right hand side. Beach Vacations is the creme building on the right past this complex.
Traveling From North Carolina
Travel South towards Myrtle Beach on Highway 17 South. From Wilmington you are approximately 1 hour from Myrtle Beach.
When you enter Myrtle Beach, Highway 17 South will split to become Kings Highway heading into downtown Myrtle Beach and
Bypass 17 heading towards Georgetown. Veer to the right heading onto Bypass 17. Continue going South and take the Highway
501 North Exit towards Conway. Go over the big bridge it has a blue rail road track sticking straight up into the air and
at the bottom of the bridge you will see signs to veer to the right towards River Oaks Drive. At the light take a left.
At the next light take a right onto River Oaks Drive. Go over a set of railroad tracks, making sure you stop at the tracks
to avoid a ticket. You will pass a complex on the right called River Oaks South. After this complex, you will see Beach
Vacations on the right hand side. We are a creme color style home.
