Vacation Rental Agreement Policies

Below you’ll discover quick answers to your questions regarding the policies and procedures upheld by Beach Vacations, LLC. In developing these policies, Beach Vacations considers the needs and comfort of all guests with hopes of making each stay in our rental properties a positive experience for everyone. We strive to provide the best in customer service and vacation experience. These policies help to ensure that you will enjoy every minute of your stay in any of our vacation rentals across the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand area. Check in / Checkout:

Check in time is after 4:00 PM EST and check out time is before 10:00 AM EST. We cannot guarantee early check in or late check out requests. There will be a full day charge for unauthorized late check outs. All guests must be 25 years of age or older to check in.

Deposit and Payment Due Date:

  • Booking over 60 days out a 25% deposit is required and then the remainder is due 60 days before arrival.  If booking within 60 days of arrival, full payment is due at the time of booking.
  • A valid photo ID and signed rental agreement are required prior to check-in. These can be submitted via email.
  • No need to check in at the office! We’ll send all arrival details via email / text so you can head straight to your unit.

Methods of Payment:

We accept all major credit cards, ( Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express ) bank checks and personal checks. If you pay your final balance with a credit card we will add 3% to the final balance

Cancellation of Reservation:

  • A sixty (60) day written email notice sent to customersupport@mbvacationhomerentals.com is required for all cancellations. We do not accept verbal cancellations. The request must be in writing. ALL cancellations will be subject to a $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee. If canceled less than 60 days before arrival, all funds will be held, and the property will be available again for rentals. If ALP is able to re-rent the unit for the same amount of money, all monies paid will be returned EXCEPT (LESS) the $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee. ALP reserves the right to discount the nightly rate to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for a lesser rate all monies will be returned EXCEPT (LESS) the $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, the Booking fee, and difference in rental price. ALP strongly suggests purchasing travel insurance.Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and fail to notify the resort of a change to their stay dates, therefore acknowledge forfeiture of advance deposit funds.

House Parties:

Should a house party (chaperoned or un-chaperoned) occur, occupancy will be immediately terminated. Should a parent check into a rental and later leave students or minors, the students/minors will be evicted if BV finds it necessary to do so. No refund, including unused rental amounts, will be refunded.

The unit includes:

All furnishings required for normal living conditions. Rates include departure maid service & optional setup of linens. Linens are provided based on the number of paid occupants (monthly stays excluded). Pillows, bedspreads, and blankets are provided; however, these are for use as bedding on the beds only! You must bring your own blankets and towels for use on the beach, on the balcony, by the pool, etc. Units are set up for light housekeeping, including cooking and eating utensils.

Locked Closets:

Many homeowners have their personal property locked in a closet for their convenience. These areas are absolutely not included in this rental.

Upon Arrival:

Immediately notify the rental office of any missing or inoperative furnishings or equipment or any weak or unsafe conditions which may result in injury. Occupancy by you and/or your party shall be conclusive evidence that the unit is in satisfactory condition. During your stay, please promptly report any problems to our office so that our maintenance department might attend to them efficiently for your safety and comfort, and for that of future guests.

Repairs:

We cannot guarantee air conditioning or appliances. There will be no refund upon their failure. We try to keep these units in good working order. Our best will be done to have any malfunction repaired as quickly as possible.

Substitution:

In the event that an owner of a vacation rental unit elects to remove his/her property from our rental management responsibility, we will provide comparable accommodations or grant a full refund. We reserve the right to substitute suitable accommodations if circumstances require.

Agent / Maintenance:

Personnel are permitted to enter premises during normal working hours (9:00am-5:00pm) for the purpose of conducting necessary repairs and/or maintenance.
