ANNUAL FALL TASTE OF MARKET COMMON

ANNUAL FALL TASTE OF MARKET COMMON

The Fall Taste of The Market Common is a seasonal food sampler event held in The Market Common district of Myrtle Beach. It gives visitors a chance to sample small bites and signature dishes from the area’s restaurants all in one place.

It’s organized by Visit Myrtle Beach and The Market Common, and happens twice a year (spring and fall).

📅 When & Where — 2025 Details

  • Date: October 11, 2025
  • Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Location: The Market Common, Myrtle Beach, SC

🍽️ How It Works & What to Expect

  • On the day of the event, visitors purchase tasting tickets (cash only) at booths set up around the venue.
  • Each tasting item is assigned a ticket value (usually between 1 to 5 tickets) depending on the portion or dish.
  • With those tickets, guests can “taste” any participating restaurant’s offering.
  • Visitors can vote for their favorite dishes in categories like appetizer, entrée, or dessert.
  • There is also children’s entertainment, such as face painting, balloon art, etc., to make the day fun for families.
  • In past years, the event has featured around 16 participating businesses, making it one of the largest “Taste” events in this area.

🍕 Participating Restaurants & Menu Variety

Past participants have included a wide variety of restaurants in The Market Common serving:

  • Southern / Lowcountry dishes

  • Italian & pasta

  • Asian cuisine

  • Tex‑Mex flavors

  • Specialty desserts, sweets, and unique creations

You’ll likely see both fan favorites and new dishes for this “Taste” edition.

✅ Tips for Attending & Making the Most of It

  • Bring cash. Tasting tickets are cash-only.
  • Get there early. To beat lines at ticket booths and get first pick of tastings.
