The Fall Taste of The Market Common is a seasonal food sampler event held in The Market Common district of Myrtle Beach. It gives visitors a chance to sample small bites and signature dishes from the area’s restaurants all in one place.

It’s organized by Visit Myrtle Beach and The Market Common, and happens twice a year (spring and fall).

🍽️ How It Works & What to Expect

  • On the day of the event, visitors purchase tasting tickets (cash only) at booths set up around the venue.
  • Each tasting item is assigned a ticket value (usually between 1 to 5 tickets) depending on the portion or dish.
  • With those tickets, guests can “taste” any participating restaurant’s offering.
  • Visitors can vote for their favorite dishes in categories like appetizer, entrée, or dessert.
  • There is also children’s entertainment, such as face painting, balloon art, etc., to make the day fun for families.
  • In past years, the event has featured around 16 participating businesses, making it one of the largest “Taste” events in this area.

Past participants have included a wide variety of restaurants in The Market Common serving:

  • Southern / Lowcountry dishes

  • Italian & pasta

  • Asian cuisine

  • Tex‑Mex flavors

Some restaurants featured previously: King Street Grille, P.F. Chang’s, Tupelo Honey, Gordon Biersch, Uncommon Chocolatier, Gios Pizzeria Napoletana, CO Sushi, and more.

You’ll likely see both fan favorites and new dishes for this “Taste” edition.
